Purpose
To provide instruction and training in South Asian languages (Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, etc.) in the areas of language, literature, culture, arts, music, technology, and physical and mental well-being through academic pursuit.
About
- Implementing academic activities in both online and offline formats while adhering to global language standards (ACTFL, CEFR, etc.) for the programs and courses designed to help them become more proficient in their mother tongue.
- To conduct meetings, seminars, special talks, workshops, conferences, short-term and long-term training programs, seasonal camps, ceremonies, clubs, competitions, volunteering, exhibitions, celebrations, and events at the national and international levels.
- To send and receive students from Canada, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Mauritius, Fiji, and the Andaman Islands via the Global Immersion Program (GIP).
- Collaboration on pathway, certificate, diploma, and degree programs, etc., with other educational institutions in Canada and overseas.
- To offer resources and assistance in support of research and development.
- To provide guidance and support those who are new to Canada for education, employment, permanent residency, tourism, etc.
- To offer family services programs that help prevent violence and abuse, homelessness, mental health crises, and hospitalization by offering crisis intervention, counselling, mediation, case conferences, and ongoing support to senior citizens, adults, and children.
- To provide interpretation and translation services to the community and the government.
- To publish the text-books, magazines, journals, videos, images, and sound resources for educational and social purposes.
- To provide professionals with tools, training, and resources that maximize their potential and accelerate their success.
- To facilitate the growth and development of the community by building bridges between emerging and established professionals, mentors and mentees can mutually impact each other’s lives through the sharing of knowledge, ideas, and experiences.
